Nightwish has a special tour and a record in the works – March of 2018 will mark the start of the band’s 9-month long Decades: World Tour 2018, beginning with a North American tour spanning 34 shows. Experimental Prog-Metallers In The Presence of Wolves has a new EP, produced by Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Kevin Antreassian, out later this month, entitled Of Two Minds, Stages 1-2: The Ape and The Cage. Belgium-born-and-bred Thrashers Evil Invaders have recently revealed some details for their upcoming second album. Feed Me Violence is the title of the follow-up to debut record Pulses of Pleasure and their first full-length since the EP In For The Kill. The Agonist is a band out of Canada that’s planning a return to the road while still very much at home, with a Canadian tour that’s been recently announced. This is the first time ever that The Agonist is headlining a full tour in Canada, and this one is in support of their recent Napalm Records debut Five. As Polish metallers Decapitated prepare for Anticult, their seventh studio album being released on July 7th via Nuclear Blast, the band has given several looks into the record ahead of time. Death Metallers Broken Hope are “mutilating and assimilating” fans little by little as they continue to release singles off their upcoming “The Thing”-inspired record. “The Carrion Eaters” is the latest, and a video to accompany the savage second single has premiered via Metal Insider: http://www.metalinsider.net/video/video-premiere-broken-hope-the-carrion-eaters. Montreal-based Thrashers Mutank are preparing their new Boonsdale Records EP W.H.A.T.S.T.H.A.T. for a June 16th release. The 2014 Wacken Metal Battle Canada winners’ EP will be provide a taste of their upcoming full-length once it’s released, and Decibel Magazine has a taste of it all to offer right now, as they’ve teamed up with Mutank for an exclusive single premiere and introductory interview”. Vader is on the road as they kick off a North American tour at Maryland Deathfest tonight. The Strike of the Empire 21-date trek also features Internal Bleeding, Sacrificial Slaughter, Voices of Ruin, and Micawber. From East to West and back again, Vader will be touring in support of The Empire, their release from Nuclear Blast last year which followed up the Polish Death Metallers’ 2014 Tibi Et Igni, both of which are available on the band’s webstore. Warbringer recently kicked off a North American tour on the West Coast with a California date, continuing their ongoing touring cycle ever since the Woe To The Vanquished March 31st Napalm Records release.
