Dream Evil Streams New Single

Facebooktwitterpinteresttumblr

Dream Evil may have an album on the way, set to be released on May 26th, but there’s no need to wait ‘til then to get a taste of the record. Six will open with a self-titled track from the band, and an official video for that song has been revealed via Century Media Records this week, streaming on their YouTube Channel: https://youtu.be/HRTv_ycvUVk

Here’s what the band has to say about the track and clip: “Many bands have a song that features the band’s name…but it’s actually hard to find a song you feel so directly confident with that it can ‘wear’ the band’s name. In our opinion the song ‘Dream Evil’ has this quality, so that’s also why it was the obvious choice for our first video of Six. Enjoy!”

The U.S. will get the album digitally on the release date in May, but it is also available for pre-order on the CM Distro Europe website CM Distro Europe website. More info on the new record is still to come.

Megadeth recently released a video via social media giving a wrap-up of the weekend experience held early last month known as the “Megadeth Boot Camp”. The Boot Camp took place March 10-13 in Fallbrook, CA at frontman Dave Mustaine’s private estate and offered a variety of experiences for fans that included not only meet and greets, performances, and guitar, drum, and bass clinics from the band themselves, but the chance to test their metal chops by recording their own vocals over “Symphony of Destruction” in Mustaine’s own home studio. Beer, wine, and coffee (by Ellefson Coffee Co., bassist Dave Ellefson’s own brand) tastings, plus jamming grounds, and trivia featuring SiriusXM DJ Jose Mangin were some of the other events to top off the weekend. The clip gives a brief but thorough look into the whole experience and you can see it below:

Tengger Cavalry Aims for New Album with M-Theory Audio

Mtheory Tengger

Tengger Cavalry brings an unusual touch to the metal world with their unique brand of Mongolian Folk Metal, and now they’ve signed with M-Theory Audio, a recently launched label by Marco Barbieri, former president of Century Media Records and Nuclear Blast America. The exotic sounds of the band, featuring founder Nature Ganganbaigal employing Ancient Mongolian throat-singing and several native instruments, including the Morin Khuur (an ancient fiddle), the Tovshuur (a Mongolian guitar) and the Mongolian flute, shows just why they’ve sold out dates along two headlining tours with over six studio releases under their belt. Barbieri says of the band, “Tengger Cavalry is one of the most unique new bands, and I’ve been impressed how Nature Ganganbaigal and the group developed themselves to this point independently. By teaming up with an old friend, Dawn Robinson, as management and now working with us at M-Theory Audio, I’m excited by the upward possibilities the future holds and the fun and breakthroughs possible with their themes and great music”. In light of the signing, the band is recording their fifth full-length album to be released in June, followed by a five-week North American tour and performances at several European summer festivals.

With roots throughout Western Europe and some hard-hitting extreme metal to unleash, Implore is one of the latest additions to Century Media Records. The Berlin-based trio has been spreading their genre-blending Death Metal across the world since they formed in 2013, and they’ve got many a major festival under their belts, as well as over 200 live shows gaining fans in the brutal death metal, grindcore, hardcore, and crust punk genres, to name a few. Some EPs and demos have helped to do the job of spreading the word about Implore, alongside their debut full-length Depopulation from two years back on Pelagic Records. But now, their second full-length and first album on Century Media Records will make for a whole new listening experience showcasing a band that’s even stronger and more focused than ever before. He Is Legend will make their debut on Spinefarm Records, with a release set for April 28th. few is the fifth studio release from the band, and a new music video for the opening track “Air Raid” has premiered exclusively on Loudwire, which you can find right here: http://loudwire.com/he-is-legend-air-raid-video-premiere/. Here’s what singer Schuylar Croom has to say about the new release: “We’ve kept the cathartic experience of a He Is Legend show a strictly personal experience for our fans for some time now. Never have we hit this hard before so we decided it was due time that we showcased our live show through a music video. This video finally captures what we believe to be out best assets — all of the darkness, sexuality, chaos, and grooviness of a Legend show is encompassed amidst the rhythm of the first track our new album called ‘Air Raid.’ This song really highlights our passion and aggression that peppers the entirety of this new record and we couldnt be more proud. Justin Reich came out to capture this unique experience with us in a way that makes you feel like you’re right there in the mix with us. We hope our fans love it and that it turns on some new folks. See ya on the dance floor!”” He Is Legend is headlining on a tour and just got through a run with Norma Jean.

Tribulance Returns with New Record

Tribulance Album Cover

Arizona’s Tribulance may have had a share of trials and tribulations, forming in 1995 for a top 10 debut (called Trial and Tribulations) then disbanding in 1998 after industry shortfalls. 2012 saw the return of this old-school-influenced Heavy Metal band, rising from the ashes like a Phoenix – even though they’re from Tuscon – and the original founding members Michael Vidal, Sal Flores, and Gino Silva recruited drummer Brandon Lee to build their way back up into producing music that’s heavy and aggressive while still being melodic. On their style, Lee says, “I think what makes us who we are is we all come from different music backgrounds. While we’re all rooted in metal of some sort, it’s our individual tastes that lends its way into what we produce as Tribulance”. The “Traditional Metal aesthetic” is a tagline that’s been attributed to the vocal and instrumental styles that fuel this group that’s aiming high with their highly-anticipated new record The Aftermath of Lies. May 5th is when this self-released record will be unleashed on the world, and the first single is already streaming via SoundCloud. Pre-orders will also be available soon.
