Metalville Records Reissuing Classic Carnivore and Crimson Glory
Ever wanted to get your hands on some reissued and digitally remastered Carnivore and Crimson Glory? Well, thanks to Metalville Records, now you can. On June 2nd, the label will begin to reissue physical CD editions of classics from the Roadrunner Records archives, and they’re starting it all off with these prolific 80’s metal bands. Carnivore by Carnivore and Transcendence by Crimson Glory will be the first two to start off the series. The reissue of Carnivore’s self-titled will also feature three demo tracks from the Peter Steele fronted band from 1986. Crimson Glory’s self-titled and Carnivore’s Retaliation are next in line for remastering. Here’s what Metalville Records CEO Holger Koch has to say about the project: “I have a great deal of respect for the work Roadrunner has done and continues to do for their artists. Cees Wessels and his team did a great job over the years, their A&R work was excellent. All of us at Metalville are very happy that we can give these classic releases a new life and offer a new generation of metal fans an enhanced listening experience to these seminal albums.” More information on Metalville Records here.
