Metallica Announce Double Album & Premiere New Single “Hardwired”
Metallica has announced the release date of the long awaited new studio album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct – November 18th, 2016. This will be the band’s eleventh studio album, and their first since 2008’s Death Magnetic. “Hardwired”, a track off the upcoming album, made a surprise debut today when Lars Ulrich premiered it during an interview with 93X in Minneapolis, where Metallica will play the first rock concert at U.S. Bank Stadium this weekend.
Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, a double album to be released on vinyl, CD, and digital download, is available for preorder at metallica.com. Every order placed through the site will come with an instant download of “Hardwired”. A deluxe edition will also be available, including riffs that were the origins of the album.
