The 2019 Wacken Metal Battle USA recently took place at The Viper Room in Los Angeles, as the annual nationwide competition decided which band will represent the U.S. in the next stages of the battle – facing off against 29 other countries to see who will win the chance to take the stage at Wacken Open Air this year. Opeth has just revealed the upcoming release of the 13th chapter in their discography, with In Cauda Venenum set to be out on Moderbolaget/Nuclear Blast Records this fall. In Cauda Venenum will be available in both Swedish and English language versions, and further details on the record, including the release date, will be announced soon. In the meantime, the band has plenty of dates lined up worldwide, including a festival appearance in the U.S. at Psycho Las Vegas this August. Whitesnake is on the way to the release of Flesh & Blood, their brand new full-length set to be released via Frontiers Music Srl on May 10th. This week, the band has just revealed the second single off the record, following up on “Shut Up and Kiss Me” with “Trouble Is Your Middle Name”.
