The Agonist Hits First-Ever Headlining Canadian Tour

The Agonist is a band out of Canada that’s planning a return to the road while still very much at home, with a Canadian tour that’s been recently announced. This is the first time ever that The Agonist is headlining a full tour in Canada, and this one is in support of their recent Napalm Records debut Five. Decapitated Gives A Look Into “Anticult”

As Polish metallers Decapitated prepare for Anticult, their seventh studio album being released on July 7th via Nuclear Blast, the band has given several looks into the record ahead of time. Bloody Hammers Prepare Limited EP

Bloody Hammers has a rather exclusive release on the way – a six-song EP called The Horrific Case of Bloody Hammers set for July 14th. The record will be available as vinyl with only 300 copies available through the band’s webstore. EDGUY to Release “Monuments”

EDGUY is celebrating a 25th Anniversary, and while getting out on the road to celebrate, they’ve got a new release in store at the same time. Ride For Ronnie Motorcycle Rally Raises $40,000

The Third Annual “Ride For Ronnie” took place a few weekends ago, on Sunday May 7th, in an effort to raise money for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund. Music fans, musicians, and other celebrity guests gathered to ride in the rally, which was accompanied throughout the day by several concerts and an all-star jam led by Steven Adler. Projected Sets a Sophomore Release for Summer

Projected, a hard rock supergroup consisting of Sevendust guitarist and bassist John Connolly and Vinnie Hornsby, Alter Bridge/Creed drummer Scott Phillips, and Tremonti guitarist Eric “E-ROCK” Friedman, has signed to Rat Pak Records for their second album, Ignite My Insanity. Broken Hope Release Second Single Off Upcoming Album

Death Metallers Broken Hope are “mutilating and assimilating” fans little by little as they continue to release singles off their upcoming “The Thing”-inspired record. “The Carrion Eaters” is the latest, and a video to accompany the savage second single has premiered via Metal Insider: http://www.metalinsider.net/video/video-premiere-broken-hope-the-carrion-eaters. Vader Kick Off “Strike of the Empire” Tour

Vader is on the road as they kick off a North American tour at Maryland Deathfest tonight. The Strike of the Empire 21-date trek also features Internal Bleeding, Sacrificial Slaughter, Voices of Ruin, and Micawber. From East to West and back again, Vader will be touring in support of The Empire, their release from Nuclear Blast last year which followed up the Polish Death Metallers’ 2014 Tibi Et Igni, both of which are available on the band’s webstore. “The Conspiracy Diaries” Debut Featuring Cavalera Conspiracy

Cavalera Conspiracy is back, with new music from the Sepultura legends Max and Igor Cavalera in the form of a fourth album. The yet-to-be-titled record is set for a Fall 2017 Napalm Records release, and the making-of will be documented by Horns Up Rocks along the way in a series called “The Conspiracy Diaries”.
