Norwegian Black Metal band Satyricon had a big announcement to make this week – their first studio record in four years. Following their Norwegian Charts topping self-titled 2013 record Satyricon, the band now presents Deep calleth upon Deep, set for a September 22nd release on Napalm Records. Satyricon rejoined a former collaborator, Canadian producer Mike Fraser, for the recording and mixing of Deep calleth upon Deep earlier this year. Venom Prison is a band out of the UK who recently grabbed the title of “Best New Band” from the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards. Nightwish has a special tour and a record in the works – March of 2018 will mark the start of the band’s 9-month long Decades: World Tour 2018, beginning with a North American tour spanning 34 shows. The band plans to revisit early material, playing tracks that are rarely heard as well as putting a new spin on some classics.
