Halestorm Covers Joan Jett

Hard Rockers Halestorm have been working on some covers, and the latest has just been released  – Joan Jett & The Blackhearts’ hit “I Hate Myself For Loving You”. ReAniMate 3.0: The Covers EP is the title of the latest upcoming release from the band, and the third cover album features covers spanning rock, metal and even pop as they take on tracks by Whitesnake, Metallica, and Sophie B. Hawkins, among others. The album is set to be released on January 6th, 2017 and is available for pre-order via iTunes and Amazon. Check out the Joan Jett cover below: 

Doro Releases Special Video Tribute to Lemmy

Metal Queen Doro Pesch has released a special video today as a tribute to the late Lemmy Kilmister, featuring footage and pictures highlighting their friendship and work together, set to the song “It Still Hurts”. Doro is known to have been a good friend of the well-loved Motörhead frontman, and “It Still Hurts” is a song that Doro recorded as a duet alongside Lemmy in 2012, for her album Raise Your Fist. The Aftershow Debut With Lemmy Tribute Track

The Aftershow has arrived, and they’ve brought along some “No Rules, Bare Bones Rock-n-Roll”. John 5 Announces New Album and 2017 Tour Dates

A new John 5 album is on the way, with a recently announced release date of March 3rd, 2017. The title will be Season of the Witch, and further details on the album remain to be announced, but a teaser trailer for the album and a photo of the album cover (above) have already been revealed. A 2017 John 5 tour has also been announced, and the first show in Seattle, WA falls on the same date as the album’s release, March 3rd. Striker Premiere “Phoenix Lights” Music Video

Up-and-coming Canadian Metal band Striker has released a new music video for a track off their most recent album, Stand in the Fire. The song is called “Phoenix Lights” and the video is directed by Lindsay Robinson, who has directed several Striker videos, among those of other bands such as Mortillery and Death Toll Rising. Judas Priest to Reissue Turbo Album
